Following the success of previous years, Madrid, a city with an international recognition for its plethora of excellent restaurants, is opening its "alta cocina" restaurants with prices that make them almost irresistible for any foodie to resist. Yes, once more we celebrate the return of Restaurant Week in Spain. In a show of Spain's international reputation, where last week we talked about the upcoming Barcelona Restaurant Week, this week we highlight the Madrid Restaurant Week. While both cities enjoy deserved fame, the styles of cooking are often vastly different, which is one of the things I love most about Spain, and have talked about before on this blog.
Madrid Restaurant Week runs from November 4 through 13, with more than 50 restaurants joining in the celebration, and all with menus of just 25 euros per person!
